The recommended method of cleaning your Silkcessories scarves
is by hand washing in mild detergent, or dry cleaning. To iron
or press the item, use the steam and silk or cotton settings on your iron. Always use a flat cloth, a tea towel or cotton cloth on your ironing board. This will prevent the resist from melting onto your
iron or ironing board. If there is a shiny, raised area in the design of the piece, be sure to place the shiny or raised side facing down
before you begin ironing. Iron carefully and hang to prevent wrinkles.

Never pin holes in the scarf as they can tear the silk
and ruin your special piece. You should not expose the item to
direct sunlight for long periods of time, the colors are permanent
but will fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
